This is a 9 week program (8 weeks of accumulation + 1 deload/test week) that is designed to help increase your fitness levels that the Ontario Fit PIN test demands. Every exercise has clickable videos with full instruction to help guide you in the gym. Throughout the next 9 weeks you will be challenged through all areas of assessment including running and cardiovascular endurance, pushing strength for pushups, core/glute stabilization and endurance, and overall strength and fitness. This program is built on both overall strength through resistance training along with running. It is very important to follow the program as written – everything is carefully placed to ensure proper fatigue management, progressive overload and adaptation.
The premise of a good program is progressive overload each week, which means workouts will repeat with small incremental changes each week, for several weeks at a time. In this program you will have two micro cycles, with a testing week with full guidance designed to be completed at the end. Every week, it means do it better, go heavier, and try harder – especially on the running portions. It is crucial for your success to log your weights and/or running time every single workout. It is highly recommended that you PRINT your program and keep it with you as a logbook.
